Fun Yoga for 8-12 Year Olds

Join us for a fun hour of flowing yoga movements, upbeat music, mindful breathing, friendship, focus relaxation and maybe even a bit of meditation  ;)
 
This class runs Tuesdays, from 4-5pm, April 10th-June 26th. $15 drop in, Four class punch passes for $44 (plus tax).
 
We are happy to create more accessibility for all kids to play yoga games, so, please email dawn@tandavayoga.ca if you'd like your child to attend but do not have the financial means. Namaste.

Inversion, Hip Opening, Hand Balancing: the Moderate Approach
 
Tuesdays, 7-8:30pm
$65+gst

In these 4 weeks, we will explore some of the postures that can be elusive.

How can we open our hips into the next level of movement?

Are there hand-balancing poses that I can do that are not too intense?

What about inversions? How can I find my way upside down, safely? Why is this so frightening?

Well, this last series before summer will offer some insights into that. And more.


Can I do it and be afraid at the same time? YES! We will play together for parts of the sessions

Being that these postures can be a bit more challenging, we can only do a few of them per class.


Hence, the eclectic mix. We will break some of the movements down, and how to prepare for the poses.
We want to create safety and courage.
