Mandala Mamas: Prenatal Yoga

This 6 week yoga series helps you connect with other mamas and stay active during all stages of your pregnancy. Classes are crafted to strengthen the muscles you will use in labour as well as release the stiff and sore areas caused by pregnancy's changing levels of mobility. Rest and relaxation is guaranteed.

Prenatal yoga helps you take care of yourself, bond with your baby and learn breathing techniques the help you throughout the labour process - and daily life!

We offer this class as a pre-registered 6 weeks series, giving you a chance to actually get to know the women you are practicing and creating with.

Home with a new babe? Bring your sweet babe to Tandava Yoga and treat yourself to a yoga class in the company of other new mamas. Classes are lead by an experienced yoga instructor, Megan Clyne. Yoga can be a great way to begin safely strengthening, stretching and taking care of the body and mind post pregnancy. Our intention is to provide a safe space for new mamas to connect and find community.

Show up as you are, mama. No experience required. Nursing, bottle feeding, diapering, crying, giggling and everything else that comes with a new babe is welcome and expected

4 Week Beginner Kundalini Series

Looking to create lasting change? Come try a different style of Yoga. Join us on a beginner's journey of Kundalini yoga using the technologies of pranayama(breathwork), kriya(physical postures), chanting(Naad ) and meditation. This practice will begin to bring balance to your body, mind and spirit. The 4 week beginner's series will take you step by step through this unique practice and give you a better understanding of the practice itself as well as a deeper connection to who you are and how you live your life.

4 Week Beginner Yoga Series

This series is both for people who have never tried yoga and those that have tried it out and felt lost in regular classes.
We will explore the basics of hatha yoga, including, but not limited to breath work, physical postures and simple meditation. The development of proper and safe alignment, a felt experience of the full breath and self-observation without judgement will be emphasized. We will also explore modifications and variations on yoga poses that are regularly practiced in studio classes how to safely perform a Sun Salute!
Through this series you will gain or strengthen your mind-body connection and learn valuable tools for reducing stress and building strength and flexibility. 
The intention for this series is for you to be able to attend regularly scheduled classes with confidence, so please come equipped with all of the questions that you may have!
